Shipping and Returns Policy


Most craft purchased on is available for Local and International delivery. Each artisan is responsible for arranging Shipping and Delivery of their craft and will make every effort to have your item(s) packaged and sent within 48 hours of purchase.


All sent items will be insured and tracked.


Guild Trip artisans have full flexibility in the way(s) they may offer to arrange Shipping + Delivery of your purchase. Whichever way(s) they have determined, rest assured it will be by the quickest and most economical means possible.


Unfortunately we cannot ship to post office box numbers.


Any further customs or tariffs fees are the sole responsibility of purchaser.


Artisans post their own shipping terms for individual items, which are located under ‘Shipping’ on the Item Detail Page and are outlined below:


Flat Rate Fee

Some artisans may choose to offer a Flat Rate Shipping fee on certain items. Flat Rate shipping reflects a set dollar amount for shipping this item. No matter where this item ships to in the world, the Flat Shipping Rate remains the same.

Adaptive Shipping

The cost of shipping an item(s) will be calculated based on distance, size, and weight of an object. This is calculated for you, in CAD, at the time of purchase during the Checkout process. ‬

Shipping and Delivery is arranged personally between you and artisan

Some artisans would like to arrange the cost of Shipping and Delivery with you personally before or after purchase. Alternatively, they may choose to offer Free Shipping on specific items. Any special restrictions or offers that apply on specific items will be communicated by each artisan on the Item Detail Page under the heading Shipping and Delivery Details”.

For example, the cost of shipping an item(s), choices on how quickly you want your purchase delivered, whether free shipping is offered or special local rates, may be communicated and organized between you and the artisan via email or phone before or after purchase.

Return Policy

We do hope you cherish your fine craft purchase, however to ensure fairness to artisan and purchaser, a few rules have been put in place.


Please do make every effort to contact the artisan directly to explain your situation before returning an item.


Time Limited Return

Our return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. Returned package MUST be postmarked no later than 14 days from date of receiving.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.


Proof of Purchase

To complete your return, the artisan requires a receipt or proof of purchase.


Commissioned Work

Guild Trip Artisans have individual return policies and agreements regarding commissioned work . Commissioned work is not governed by this Returns Policy.


Non-Returnable Items

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.


Additional non-returnable items:

* Gift cards


There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted

* Book with obvious signs of use

* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

* Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery



Once your return is received and inspected, the individual artisan will send you an email to notify you that they have received your returned item. They will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a seven days.


Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.



If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.


If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.



To return your product, you should mail your product directly to the artisan you purchased it from.


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.


If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Broken or damaged items will be returned to purchaser C.O.D. and reimbursement is the sole responsibility between the purchaser and insured carrier.
